Magnum lived with and was co-owned by Neil Harris of Lancetti Belgian Shepherds. He was bred by Michel Griol and was imported from France in August 1996, when he had to undergo the dreaded six months quarantine. Happily, he emerged unscathed from his ordeal and enchanted all who met him with his friendly, sociable character. He won his British Champion title in June 2001.

As well as being a highly successful show dog, winning Best in Show at the French National in 2000 and Best in Show at the Northern Belgian Specialty in 2001, Magnum produced puppies of remarkable breed type. He gave glamour, showmanship, body shape, and above all his lovely expression. A wonderful character, a beautiful dog, a great producer, and above all a marvellous companion to Neil. Magnum was a star in every sense of the word.
